For years it
was felt that basic aerobics was a great cardiovascular exercise to improve
your heart, lungs and other organs. However, studies are continuing to show
that high intensity – short duration (anaerobic) workouts, especially when
accompanied by weight bearing resistance is the best to improve your heart,
lungs and other organs.
